Humanity is like a flower with roots, stems, and petals.
The root of humankind is understanding the limits and needs required for spiritual growth. Knowing what you need, such as appropriate clothing for the current situation, and understanding your limitations, such as whether you can build a house to protect yourself, are all spiritual, although they may seem physical.
The stem of humankind is knowing what is healthy and beneficial for your body to enable physical growth. Knowing what is healthy for your body, such as eating salmon, and understanding what your body needs, such as daily workouts to stretch and carry out daily tasks, including the fuel required to power your home, are all physical. Understanding your limitations, such as the weight you can carry or the clothing required for carrying out tasks, can increase your body’s capabilities, supporting stem growth from the root which is spiritual.
The petals of humankind are understanding how to react to situations in the present moment, identifying and solving problems as correctly as possible, leading to mental growth. Knowing the situation you are in, such as whether there is rain, and determining the appropriate solution, such as using an umbrella or seeking shelter, are all mental. The roots feeding the stem enable the petals to blossom, helping you remain focused, organized, and strong enough to tackle problems.
Those lacking one element are deficient in the others. Growing all parts with balance and self-love is essential to prosper; the strength that comes from unity begins from within.
